Mountain Splendor The perfect name for this 2 story 1 bedroom cabin with amazing, breathtaking 180 degree views of Mt. LeConte.

Mountain Splendor was the first cabin developed at the top peak of the Mountain. It is one of the highest occupied cabins in the resort year after year. Directions to Mountain Splendor are drive to the top of the mountain. The first words out of your mouth is O My God, wow how beautiful. The next words are I wish we could be staying there. That cabin will be Mountain Splendor. This cabin is approximately 1,404 square feet.
As you enter the cabin, the first thing you will notice is that the owner spared no expense. The full kitchen features stainless steel appliances which include refrigerator/ice maker, stove, microwave, and dish-washer. You will also find a blender, coffee maker, Cuisinart cookware and more, all that is necessary to prepare a gourmet meal for two or a hot, satisfying family meal. You will feel as if you are dining on the top of the mountain as you sit at the beautiful dining table with the splendid mountain views all around you.
Snuggle on the sofa in front of the fireplace and watch a movie or retire to the master bedroom where you will find a comfortable king bed. The master bedroom also has its own adjoining full bathroom with tub and shower.
Upstairs in the loft area, you will be greeted with even more breathtaking mountain views from the floor to ceiling windows. You will also find one of the best equipped game rooms in the area, outfitted with a pool table, air hockey, PlayStation 2, X-box 360 console, as well as the new PlayStation 3. For your enjoyment, the loft also has a stereo and CD-player, and a second bathroom featuring a 2 person Jacuzzi tub and a heated towel rack for added luxury and enjoyment.
Oh and did we mention the views? Well we really can’t stress them enough. Imagine sitting in the hot tub with mountain splendor all around you! That is exactly what you will get when you soak in this hot tub!

My wife and i checked into Mountain Slendor for the first two nights of our vacation/anniversary trip. We were amazed as soon as we walked in the door. The cabin was wall to wall luxery. I could go on and on about the ammenities, but the two decks out back were the icing on the cake. We had never been to the Smoky Mtns, and I’m not sure we could have picked a better place the to enjoy the mountains. We hope to return.

bodyThanks so much for the best vacation we have been on yet! The cabin was easy to get to and extremely clean. We loved the large windows that gave us a great view of the mountains. Everything exceeded our expectations. I had the opportunity to meet Alex while we were there and he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Our next Smoky Mountain vacation will definitely be through Outrageous Cabins! A+ company!

bodyThe cabins were beautiful and we had a great time in the cabins–so very much to do!
I am very grateful for Alex working it out so that I could stay with you. He split the cabins so that I could stay 2 days at Mountain Dream and 2 days at Mountain Splendor. I appreciate his desire to accommodate me since I wanted to stay where my family was staying for our family reunion. He was so gracious and you could tell he really cared.
If I were to make a suggestion, I would like to see a change in the upstairs loft in Mountain Splendor with the pull out couch. You really could use better sleeping arrangements. The bed is not comfortable even though the view is fantastic.

Hello, this was our second year staying in Mountain Splendor. It was another perfect vacation. The cabin has every amenity you would need and then some! The view is beautiful. The cabin was very clean and well kept. The only issue we had was the Jacuzzi temperature control wasn’t working and we could not get it below 102 degrees. Other than that it was a perfect stay. We are already looking forward to coming back next year!

Reply to Ms. Sally Hunt: We do offer towels on the towel display along with the towels that are made into the animal dispalys, such as 2 on the inside jacuzzi and 1 or 2 swans on each of the beds. Maybe, you have asssumed that you could not use them, but in total there are a minimumof 8 bath towels. Also, there are extra towels under the vanity sink. Thank you!

My family and I had a great time at this cabin. It was our first experience staying in a cabin. Thanks so much for sharing your cabin with us!!

The only fault that we had with the cabin was that their wasn’t enough towels there for a family of 4. I understand that most people may purchase towels for hot tub use, however, staying in a cabin should not mean that you have to purchase your own towels in order to stay clean. We have young boys and when they go out they like to take a shower first, so I think that you should take this in to consideration.

Our stay was great, the Cabin and view was magnificent! We will
definitely stay at this Cabin again. Did want to report that the lower
level toilet leaks somewhat at the base.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS:

If cancelled 14 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will be charged a $45.00 cancellation fee. However, we will issue you a gift certificate in the amount of this $45.00 which can be used toward a future reservation within 1 calendar year of your cancelled reservation. If you cancel 0 to 14 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund for all monies paid minus 1 nights rental rate. This will be issued back to you in the form of a gift certificate to be applied toward a future stay. The gift certificate must be used within 1 calendar year of your cancelled reservation.

“NO-SHOW” POLICY:

A “no-show” is an automatic forfeiture of charges — this is a contract between you (the guest) and Outrageous Cabins (the management) as representative of the owner’s property. You will be charged for the full stay if the proper cancellation policies are not followed. If we have held a cabin for you, we have pledged that cabin and those dates to you. You will be charged for this reservation.

Deposit Policy

DEPOSITS:
All reservations require a 50% deposit of your total rental charges and applicable sales taxes. The deposit you make is 100% refundable less a $45 cancellation fee if cancelled 14 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival date. However, we will issue you a gift certificate in the amount of this $45.00 which can be used toward a future reservation within 1 calendar year of your cancelled reservation. If you cancel 0 to 14 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund for all monies paid minus 1 nights rental rate. This will be issued back to you in the form of a gift certificate to be applied toward a future stay. The gift certificate must be used within 1 calendar year of your cancelled reservation.

If you are making your reservation within 14 days of your arrival date, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

Fourteen days (14) before your arrival date the balance of your stay will be charged to your credit card. You will then be sent (by fax or by email) written directions to our reservations office and a second copy of your reservation confirmation, showing that you have a zero balance due. BEFORE YOU CAN CHECK IN TO YOUR CABIN, we must have the signed rental confirmation page, along with a copy of the front and back of your driver’s license; and come by our office to register.

DO NOT send a check for your balance due. We do not accept checks. Sales tax is charged and collected on all payments for any services to the rental company.
