Great Escape – Country Pines Resort

Great place, beautiful area, and was at the very end of the street. Had perfect privacy and it was easy to take out my dog.

Very clean and helpful instructions will reserve again !

Very comfortable and close to activities.

I would say the cabin was a bit smaller than what we expected when looking at the pictures. The only downside was there was the only bathroom on the main floor was located inside the bedroom on the main level. The spiral staircase was a bit tight to get upstairs too.

The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The Hot Tub was AMAZING! We loved the little private area for that. The beds were very comfortable!

We had a great time at Outrageous “Great Escape” cabin. Everything was great with the space and was very clean upon arrival. With this we did find out on the first night that the upstairs bathroom had a leak that would drop down into the kitchen above the sink. I did send messages but was informed that they would come after our checkout, I was never offered immediate assistance or a discounted stay for not being able to use the 2nd bathroom with 9 people staying.

Clean, large cabin. Lots of kitchen ware to use. Beds were comfortable.

Checkin process was not ideal. Checkin instructions and the exact address was only shared 2 hours before checkin through email; there is a high chance that you won’t have access to the internet on the road in that area before arrival.

Cabin view was not the best. It was a closed area with tress blocking the mountains.

The cabin is in a beautiful location and nicely kept. It’s the perfect place to stay for a family looking for peace and quiet but close to the action.

We had a great stay at the cabin. The host was vert helpful with everything. It’s so close to everything. The cabin has all you need. Definitely staying with them again!

Great stay

The cabin was so nice! It is last house on the street so it is very quiet, the beds are comfy and even had extra blankets. We loved it and will definitely keep this cabin on our list to stay in again!

Kayla and the office staff are very responsive. We had some inconveniences (electric can opener didn’t work and there wasn’t a manual one in the cabin; cracked glass in the cupboard; not enough silverware for a party of 7; no cleaning supplies for the kitchen) but we still had a nice time. The area is quiet. The kids loved the Pac-Man game in the living room and pool table upstairs. We were expecting a handicapped accessible cabin since it has a wheelchair ramp. Definitely NOT accessible, so if you need ADA accessibility this is not the cabin for you. If you are fully mobile, you will enjoy your stay. Note: the brown chair in the living room has two springs in the seat that are wonky. Not exactly uncomfortable but definitely off-balance. We put a pillow on the seat and it worked fine. Lots of great restaurants and activities in the area, and a short drive to Gatlinburg. It’s nice having a washer/dryer in the cabin, and the dual shower heads are fabulous.

Very tidy and lovely cabin, equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. The location is incredible. The host was very communicative and responsive at all times.

Great cabin in a safe area, looks exactly like the pictures. Located close to many of the attractions. We had an excellent time.

Great cabin tucked into the hillside. Feels like you’re the only cabin around!! Nicely updated bathrooms and place was spotless. Hot tub was amazing and a nightly relaxer for the whole family. Comfortable beds. Just minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Would definitely recommend!!!

"Fun and conveniently located cabin!"

My family of five had a great time here. Bedrooms were spacious, the games were a lot of fun to play! The place smelled great when we arrived (always a small fear for dog friendly cabins). But you could tell this was well cleaned and maintained. We had a small issue which the management fixed within an hour. Overall, great stay and would happily stay here again!

We had a nice stay. Great location with plenty of parking which was great since we had 3 cars that needed to be parked! Very clean and comfortable beds.

We had a wonderful time at Outrageous Cabins, it was our second time with them, everything is very clean, cabins are fully equipped. We will definitely come back to stay with them again.

This cabin was amazing and completely exceeded my family and I expectations. Great location and experience.

Nice quiet cabin, a little off the beaten path. Had comfortable rooms. They provide shampoo/conditioner which was a nice touch. Also dishwasher tablets and dish soap.

You will not be disappointed with the views of this cabin. Especially if you are lucky enough like us to see snow fall. The cabin does look bigger in the pictures but it was the perfect size for my family. The cabin was the perfect winter retreat for us!

The cabin does miss some of the nice basic essentials that other Airbnb’s have provided. This cabin is also more of a 2 bedroom cabin with the 2nd king bed being in a loft.

Over all I would recommend this cabin as it was a great family vacation and I will definitely be going back!

This cabin has a FANTASTIC location! just 10 min from all main attractions at Pigeon Forge! very comfortable layout and well equipped kitchen. Super easy check in process!

Great location! Heading to the shops and restaurants is quick and easy. Plenty of entertainment space and the beds are so comfortable. My family and I have stayed here three years in a row and always leave satisfied with our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Great Escape cabin. The cabin met all of our expectations. Check in was easy, views of the woods were nice and the location was perfect for visiting all the attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

We enjoyed our stay here with our four children!
I will say the kitchen lacks a few of the basic things we needed (pizza cutter, ice cream scoop, colander). Wasn’t the end of the world just a bit inconvenient

The hot tub was sparkling clean, and the kids enjoyed the games so much!

The cabin was clean and met all of our expectations. We absolutely loved the location. It was a very enjoyable weekend with our grown children.

Great location and comfy cabin!

My family of 8 had a great stay in the Great Escape cabin. Cabin was very clean and comfortable, check in/out was easy. Cabin is only minutes from everything you want to do in the Pigeon Forge area. Just wish yard had been a little flatter in places where you could walk the dogs or the kids could play outside.

This property is in a great location close to Dollywood. The house was clean and had most everything we needed. I do wish there were a bit more basic kitchen supplies (oil, salt & pepper, water) included but just make sure to bring your own if you'll need it. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked very clean which was nice. I would definitely stay here again and overall had a great time!

We stayed at the Great Escape cabin. So the Cabin was clean there was a hair on one of the bathroom towels but minus that it was clean. The location was spot on it was 10 minutes from the Parkway and the cabin was private with only one neighbor. It was Pet friendly but the yard at the cabin was on a steep hill so not a lot of grass for dogs. The Video game cabinet was in rough shape almost unplayable and the pool table is just to big for the space. The Hot tub wasn’t something we used but if you plan to use it realize it sits on an old deck that isn’t very appealing and it was surrounded by wood bees. Overall very quiet and secluded and smaller on the inside then the pictures make it out to be.

It is super close to everything within the vicinity of Pigeon Forge (basically where everything is). It was a great escape and very quiet stay not too loud and had an amazing view of the mountains. If you are looking to just get away and have some fun with close family and friends I highly recommend this cabin!

We loved this cabin.
It was really cozy and had homey feel.

• Check-in is super easy and fast. Note they will send you all the info the same day of your arrival. We got our info around 1.30pm.
• Parking at the cabin is large enough to fit about 4 cars.
• There is WiFi all over the cabin, not the fastest one, but it works.
• Common area was very spacious, with beautiful fire place, large tv & fun oldies game console (we were specially enjoying Pac-Man haha).
• Bottom master bedroom has dryer and washer inside of the bathroom. There were no drier sheets or detergent, so if you plan to do laundry, make sure you bring yours with you.
• Second floor is pretty much loft with bed and pool table and private room with bathroom.
• There was hair dryer, 2 toilet paper rolls, towels and small toiletries in each bathroom.
• Coffee machine for regular drip coffee or K-cups. Make sure you bring your coffee & filters or Kcups. There were none provided.
• Small dish detergent bottle, dish sponge, few dishwasher tablets and 1 paper towel roll provided in the kitchen.
• No wood or chalks. Buy your own if you’re planning to enjoy the fireplace.
• Cabin is located approx. 10-15 min drive to bigger convenience store, fun things to do like indoor snow tubing and nice restaurants. We specially enjoyed restaurant called Local Goat.
And about 30min drive to ski resort Ober Gatlinburg. If you go there, go early to get parking on top of the mountain so you don’t have to take the tram.
The roads to get there are a bit sketchy (tight, curvy and steep) specially at night, so slow and careful while driving there.

I did find somebody’s sock under the bed in master bedroom, so can’t say it’s probably being deep cleaned much, but overall the common area, kitchen and bathrooms feels clean.

If we were to come back to Smoky Mountains, I would pick Outrageous Cabins all over again. Great experience and fast responses to any questions you have!

My kids loved the hot tub and pool table. Everything was nice, clean, and in working order. It didn't have a view but I was okay with that. We are a family of 5 and it had adequate sitting for everyone in the LR which was hard to find when I was looking to book. I would absolutely rent this cabin again or even another cabin from this Rental Company.

Very well maintained cabin, lots of privacy. Cabin is pet friendly but I didn't see the slightest indicator animals had been in this cabin before. Pics make it look bigger than what it is, but that doesn't take away any of the beauty of this cabin. We can't wait to come back!

Cabin was immaculate. Couldn't have been any cleaner. Location was great. Just minutes from town, but still away from town. Only complaint is we called 3 nights in a row about the internet not working and never got it.
