Hide-Away – Country Pines Resort

This was our first time staying in an Outrageous Cabin in Pigeon Forge. We had a great time!! The location was close to the strip and in a nice community nestled nearby. The cabin was super clean, had everything for a comfortable stay and the hot tub was a major bonus!! We’d definitely stay here again. The only thing that’s needs improving is the WIFI. It is a bit slow. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Overall great stay and great facility. It was very clean and everything we needed was there. Just a couple minor things with the bathroom, the tile in front of the shower was broken and the shower door magnet did not always close all the way. I believe that's what caused the (whole) tile to be broken. It was just loosely laid in the spot. It appeared water would run down the door onto the tile causing it to erode the grout. Also the left shower head was leaking quite a bit.. however, it was a great place, we enjoyed our stay.

Everything looked pretty good. The hot tub was clean and sooooo nice to use after a long day in Dollywood. The beds were so comfortable and clean. The furniture felt clean and comfortable as well.
The only two issues we had was some of the dishes were not clean when we arrived and the bathroom was smaller than it looked in the pictures.

Great place to relax and close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge

Clean, spacious, easy to find. Hot Tub looked awesome but I did not use it. TVs in living room and bedrooms with tons of channels. Fireplace was awesome.

the cabin was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Essentials were provided and location was minutes away from Pigeon Forge. The neighborhood was very quiet.

We enjoyed our stay, convenient fly located to the parkway but far enough to feel like you’re up on the mountain.

This was our first time to the Pigeon Forge area. This cabin was in a great locations- close to all the entertainment but removed enough to be peaceful when at the cabin. It was a beautiful cabin with everything being as described. The cabins in a community of other cabins but this one is situated very private and tucked away.

We will be going back next summer and staying at this cabin again- it checked all the blocks for us.

The cabin is beautiful and location was great. Close to the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge is a few minutes away. We found a shortcut which helped skip the traffic but there are many turns if you take the shortcut. Like I said the cabin is beautiful and it is peaceful but it could be a little more clean. We had to go to the store to purchase cleaning supply because it looked like it wasn’t cleaned throughly. Overall the stay was okay but the location was great.

Nice Stay

Was a nice peaceful weekend. Visit the local market down the street they are very friendly and have everything you need. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely great experience with Outrageous Cabins! We came down for our honeymoon and the place was beautiful. The other cabins are closer than we thought they would be but the way they are all built make it feel, once you're inside, like you are the only cabin for miles. My only complaint is that the cobwebs were pretty bad in our cabin but honestly I used to be a housekeeper so I think I see dirt more than people who have never been housekeepers. We never actually saw the owners or anyone that worked for the place but their instructions were so easy to follow and we had no reason to reach out. We would definitely recommend or come back if we are ever in the area again!

Gave four stars because of small things that I’m used to being provided in a rental I.e. salt and pepper , working ice maker, more than 1 day off coffee, streaming services etc. other than these small things the location was nice and quiet and the inside was very clean and well maintained

It was a great little stay! Loved the towel animals and the lil arcade game upstairs!

Cabin was beautiful and neat! And any questions we needed answered from someone, we called and there was an answer almost right away! 10/10 recommend!

We had a great stay at our cabin! It was very clean and even ready a little before check in time. Quick drive to Pigeon Forge! The hosts were very responsive, detailed with instructions, and kind. The cabin was a little smaller than what we thought based off of the pictures, but still plenty of room for us. There are close neighbors but there was still privacy on the back deck. The main road is close to the cabin so there is some road noise. But other than those couple of small things, everything was great! We loved the double headed shower. Hot tub was very relaxing in the evenings. And they provide plenty of towels, even towels for the hot tub! There were plenty of skillets and baking sheets for when we cooked breakfast as well. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely be back!

I enjoyed my stay at hideaway in Pigeon Forge. The cabin was clean and had all the essentials you would need. It was easy to check in and check out. Would stay there again.

Great location! The yard was the perfect size for our pups and the cabin and neighborhood were both very cute! Everything was as described and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again for sure!

Great stay. Convenient location. Place is as described. Took 1 star away for cleanliness due to some dog hair along with a dog toy left behind, but nothing that made us feel like it was unsanitary. Would book again. Also, beds could use some updating, bring your own pillows.

This is a nice cabin easy access but a little farther out than we wanted to be. The beds could be upgraded.

Great place to stay while visiting the national park! Incredibly clean. Limited items in kitchen, but had a great stay.

this place was very clean and the location wasn't too bad. it was about a 15 drive to pigeon forge and on back roads it was about a 30 min drive to gatlinburg. I would suggest to bring your own pillows and coffee.

Awesome location, easy to get to and close to nearby attractions. Dont pass this one up, you will not be disappointed! We have already started planning our next trip here.

Very clean, easy instruction!

The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and the location was quiet and peaceful. It was very close to both Pigeon Forge and Galtlinburg. We had a very pleasant stay, and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

We have stayed twice now with outrageous cabins. These are the cleanest cabins ever. Located close the main strip. We love the hot tub and the game table. So many fun things without having to leave the place. Great views and peace and quiet.

Really great cabin to stay at. Easy to find and about 20 mins away from downtown Gatlinburg. Host is easily reachable and responds back in an appropriate time frame. Wifi is very slow but other than that it’s an amazing stay!

Wonderful location and private community. I agree with past reviews that the mattress needs to be replaced and the WiFi is extremely slow if you were planning on working from there. Also bring your own wine opener. Awesome large TV in the main area!

Our stay was amazing. The cabin was very clean and stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, and everything we could need. The animal-shaped towels and welcome note was also a nice touch:) Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great cabin. Convenient location but still feel like you are away from it all. Shower door doesn’t close all the way, which worried me, but the shower set up made it so it didn’t matter because no water got out. Mattress could use an update. Loved spending time in the hot tub. Great location, close to everything. Cabin is great size and the woodwork is awesome. The beds were very uncomfortable. There was also an ant problem that the owner apparently knew about because there was ant spray in the cabinet.

A beautiful cabin close to the Smokies. This place was everything we had hoped for and more - a peaceful cabin in the woods. It was beautiful, clean and well equipped. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like coffee and creamer/sugar packets, paper towels, eye makeup remover, dish and laundry detergent. I also found that the check out process was simple. Awesome cabin! The hot tub a good bonus!

A really nice cozy cabin. Great location, not far from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg...everything is within 20 mins it seems. It's a place where you have your privacy and arent bothered by anyone, but also dont feel like youre in the middle of nowhere and dont feel like you're miles from civilization...which is perfect for us.

We did have some minor issues, the biggest for us being there is a "speedbump" in the floor entering the bedroom. We kept tripping over it and stubbing our toes, because it is not really visible and it can be dangerous. And like some other reviews had said, working the hottub can be confusing and there are no clear instructions posted. We did find an old coffee filter and grounds in the coffeemaker and a couple dirty forks, but outside of that the cabin was clean.

And after recently being on a trip of having trouble finding places in the dark, it was a big positive for us that this has a big lit up sign and entrance for when you are coming in at night.

Overall a really nice place and a fun experience

We had a fantastic time in this small cabin! We loved that it was pet friendly so we could bring our 2 small dogs along. We noticed several other dogs staying in the neighborhood too. Our only surprise was how slow the internet was (0.8Mbps download). We weren’t trying to work, so it was fine. Ultimately, it helped us unplug while we were there! 😉

"Enjoyable cabin experience"

With many cabins to choose in this area Hide Away features a remote feel to the back porch. There are no other cabins in view and you are greeted by beautiful Firefly's at night. Bring your own firewood to enjoy the fireplace in the living room area. The shower has an added bonus of an extra shower head. Something i never experienced and enjoyed very much. Also the staff worked very hard to correct an issue to make my stay more comfortable. Would return to this cabin i had a great time.

The Hideaway was outstanding, just as advertised. The house was very clean, the hot tub amazing. The little area with the cabins is quiet and nice to walk...well kept and clean! It sits closer to the highway than I anticipated but it wasn’t an issue, just heard the traffic from the deck. It’s location is perfect, close to the action in Pigeon Forge and with an alternative route to Gatlinburg for those times when the main drive in gets too busy. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect location for traveling to both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg!

Our experience was great we cant speak for everyone but they were really nice and booked us the same day and everything was flawless.

While staying at the cabin my wife and I enjoyed our stay and we got some good rest. We wish we could’ve done more but Mr or Mrs. COVID-19 was not nice lol. But we enjoy our visit and really enjoy playing the old school games Thanks for the stay.

The website pictures were very deceiving regarding the size of the cabin... but it was still cute and cozy. We loved the overall appearance anyway.
There were several light bulbs out, the pillows were hard as rocks, & no can opener.
With it being in the mountains, it would have been nice to have some movie channels on the tv (because any internet connection was "sketchy". It was constantly buffering.)
Easy access to everything. Beautiful view. Sevierville was definitely a good choice.

Dell, we had a wonderful time at your place. The cabin was clean and it was a breeze to check in and just enjoy being on vacation. It’s located close to Pigeon Forge and a easy drive for food and attractions. The double shower was wonderful for my wife and I. Having early morning coffee on the deck was very cool and watching the fireflies in the evening brought us back to when we were kids and lived up north. Overall, we had a great time and wish we could of stayed longer. NEXT TIME! 🙂 Danny & Christine

Dear Outrageous Cabins,

Last October my friend and I visited Gatlinburg for the first time and stayed with Outrageous Cabins (OCs) in "Smoky Mountain Dream". The cabin was immaculate, luxurious, beautiful, breath-taking and just absolutely amazing. (Although I do recall wishing that there had been an ipod dock!) There was no doubt that when we visited Gatlinburg again that we would stay with OCs again.
In July I received an email for a very good deal on a "rustic cabin". I looked online at the cabin and thought it looked just okay- this time we were bringing the kids. It didn't look nearly as nice as the last cabin we stayed in but I thought it had to be good because OCs owned it. So with some reservation, I booked the cabin. Afterall, it was way too good a deal to pass up. On the way to Gatlinburg I felt a little uneasy about the cabin and hoped that I had not made a mistake, as we would be spending much more time at the cabin this time.

We arrived at "Hide-Away" and instantly fell in love. Sure, it wasn't as luxurious as the cabin in Starr Crest but it was still so nice. The wrap around porch was fantastic- where we spent most of our time- at the breakfast nook, in the hot tub, or just relaxing in the rocking chairs in our own privacy with a beautiful wooded view. We talked about which cabin we liked better- and think it may have been this one. It was especially nice to 'secretly' slip out our bedroom door to the hot tub at night. We also loved how we could open all the doors and we could be anywhere on the property- outside or inside- and we still felt like we were all together.

We had such a wonderful time with the cabin being the best part of it all. The kids didn't want to leave and neither did we. The rustic cabins are the best kept secret in Gatlinburg. What a deal!
We paid less than half of what we paid last time and even stayed one extra night. We did not expect the luxury of Starr Crest- but we most certainly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for such a wonderful cabin!
