Afternoon Delight – Starr Crest Resort

To say that this cabin and views are stunning are an understatement. Everything was immaculate, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked. My only regret was not staying longer.

We had a blast and will be back..

The power went out upstairs was the only issue I had

We were absolutely in love with this cabin! Although there are a lot of cabins surrounding it, it still felt very private and cozy. Our favorite part was being able to watch the DollyWood drone/fireworks show from the back porch every single night. The location is great, very close to the main strip. We will 100% be staying in this cabin again!

my girlfriend and I enjoyed a nice weekend of hiking in the Smokies. The cabin felt spacious and enjoyable. we enjoyed the hot tub nightly and has picturesque sun rises.

The cabin was in a great location, very easy to get to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. I felt like the pictures made it seem bigger than it was, a bit dated, and the train from Dollywood can be heard very clearly from the balcony; but I feel like it can probably be heard throughout the whole city. The pool table, air hockey, and hot tub were a hit with the kids.

The view was amazing. If your going to spend time sitting outside on the decks I recommend bringing cushions for the chairs. The chairs are very uncomfortable. The hot tub was great. I really liked that they had a sign stating it was drained after each guest. I know this is true because I saw them draining the one next door. However, make sure no one is sitting on the swing when people are in the hot tub. They will get wet. We could see Dollywoods firework and drone show perfectly. Loved our stay.

We could not have picked a better place to stay on our Memorial Day weekend getaway. Two beautiful decks overlooking trees, trees, and more trees. You can hear the steam engine from Dollywood cutting through the woods, although due to leaves on trees, it could not be seen. One thing the description failed to recognize is the incredible view of sunsets from the top deck. We ended up staying in the loft upstairs as it had everything we needed, including incredible views upon waking in the mornings. Huge tvs in loft and living room, although we didn't watch much tv. Location is in a neighborhood with other cabins, but we could not see them from out deck unless we leaned over the rail and looked to the left, so seemed very isolated. A ten-minute drive and you're right in the thick of things again, so easy access to the pigeon forge fun. Recommend!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at afternoon delight. All photos listed matched what was provided. We would definitely stay here again. It was conveniently located near most of the attractions that we did. If I had to complain at all the only thing would be that several of the dishes that were put away it the cabinets still had very noticeable pieces of food on them, but it wasn’t anything that would make me not stay here again. We just had to wash the dishes before using.

Highly recommend! Perfect for a peaceful get away. Everything you needed was supplied or could be with a call. Great WiFi, working appliances, and all cooking necessities provided. Will be returning!

We had a great stay and enjoyed celebrating my birthday with some great friends. 10/10 recommend this cabin. The best view in gatlinburg!

Nice cabin, but pictures were deceiving about the open floor plan upstairs.

The cabin is beautiful, spotlessly clean, has everything you need. You feel so peacefull that you don't want to get out of there. The kids have so much fun. We love the place. We will definitely go back.

nice cabin and not too bad of a drive to get to gatlingburg or pigeon forge. little bummed the fireplace was on a timer as constantly clicked and didn't give off any heat but views made up for it.

Highly recommend! The view itself is worth every penny, but the cabin is just icing on the cake! Hot tub, entertainment, very clean, and everything you could possibly need is there for you.

The stay was lovely, the view was impeccable. It’s such a cozy place. The hot tub was my favorite for sure! It’s a little noisy if you sleep in the upstairs loft. There were a couple storms while we were here and we had to move to the downstairs bedroom, but then again I’m a really light sleeper so maybe just a me problem.

Very stunning views and a great location. Close to the action, but not right in the chaos. The cabin was dated, but the amenities were great all the same.

Everything was exactly how it was described. Finding the cabin was hard because of the last number was missing from four numbers.. but other than that it was beautiful and perfect for a get away, family friendly and would recommend to for anyone! Hope the signs get fixed soon 🙂

Beautiful views, day and night! There is some noise from the Dollywood train, but other than that it’s very peaceful. It was a great opportunity to make memories with our kids, and enjoy Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!

This place was great! Very clean, great views, great people, and kept our teenager entertained for hours with all the games available. Would suggest this place to everyone.

Very nice cabin with great views of the mountains and town

The view from the house is excellent. The road to the house is dark in the night so I suggest go back to house before sunset and enjoy the evening in the house!

This cabin has a very beautiful view and is very clean. Pots, pans, blender, coffee maker, and eating utensils are readily available. The host is great and answers questions immediately. I definitely will book again, if available.

The cabin is beautiful and well stocked. It was a great last-minute trip for us! The views are lovely and it’s close to all Pigeon Forge has to offer.

We enjoyed our stay in Afternoon Delight. It’s located on a cul-de-sac so it was relatively quiet with minimal cars driving by. Yes, the Dollywood train is very loud, but we were expecting that. It would not be good for anyone who requires an afternoon nap. The cabin is well stocked. Our two kids loved the pool table, air hockey and arcade. Downstairs bathroom could use a good dusting. Because of the wood log walls, dust easily accumulates, and there’s a thick layer in there. Overall, I would recommend this cabin and we would stay in it again.

Great cabin. Outstanding view. Only negative was loud hot tub

My husband and I stayed in Afternoon Delight for our honeymoon. The cabin was very nice, clean and well appointed. We loved the game room and the hot tub off the bedroom upstairs. Each evening we watched the Dollywood fireworks from the hot tub. It was so very nice! You can see all of the valley below and even hear the Dollywood train during the daytime. It is very convenient to anything you might want to do in the area but you feel miles away from the hustle and bustle. We will definitely be back to stay in this wonderful cabin!

We loved the cabin. Lots of space. Comfortable couch and beds. Liked seeing the mountains in the morning and city lights at night. Only cons were that there wasn't a wine tool and the sheets could've been softer- but still 5 stars and would return!

I have to start with saying, that I was skeptical booking at first because there was not many recent reviews. But, I'm so glad that I booked this cabin (Afternoon Delight). We were not disappointed at all! From the drive up it was amazing! This was our first trip to the mountains & will definitely not be our last!! Cabin supplied extra garbage bags, dish soap and coffee. You will need extra washing powder (not a lot of extra towels) and seasonings if you plan on cooking-everything else is supplied.
My only complaint is that it got hot in the bedroom downstairs.

The cabin was all it was advertised to be and more. When I go to Pigeon Forge area again, this is where I would choose to stay.

We had a great time at Afternoon Delight Cabin..We go at least once a year and have stayed at several different Cabins..I must say this was one of the best..thanks for everything and will return soon
