Moondance – Country Pines Resort

We loved Moondance cabin! It felt private even though the other cabins were nearby. We loved playing Pac-Man and frogger upstairs in the loft. My son loved having his own bathroom upstairs. There are three TVs but we really only used the one in the living room. The hot tub was nice! But, on our third night it started to smell like sulphur. We called and they said they’d have maintenance come check it out. They never came, but we weren’t worried about it. I do recommend only having 2 people in the hot tub at a time unless you are skinny. We are plus sized and the water did spill over a bit.

No other complaints- and honestly the hot tub thing wasn’t an issue. We would love to come every year or so and try out their other cabins. It was conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I would highly recommend Outrageous Cabins!

Everything was Wonderful except for the TV. The quality of the picture was terrible and the satellite continually buffeted and we were unable to connect to the WiFi. The WiFi wouldn’t populate on any of our devices. Other than that we had a fabulous time! We really enjoyed Real Wood burning fire place and the sofa and recliner were recently replaced. We’ve stayed in several of these cabins and we’ll definitely be back!

A Mountain Top Experience for my parents and me. The location was so beautiful and serene. Great amenities and the loft area is a bonus!

This cabin was beautiful and just what we needed for a little get away Christmas gift. Very clean and spacious for 3 adults and a dog. The community is beautiful and very peaceful and not too far from pigeon forge.

If you are looking for a great location close to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge yet not in the hustle of the busy streets, this is the cabin for you.
Probably less than 10 mins from Dollywood and even closer to Pigeon Forge.
Neat and clean and well equipped. Quiet location. A couple of cabins are close but not intrusive feeling. Still felt private.
Love the addition of animal folded towels upon arrival. Although we brought day-to day supplies like shampoo, soap, etc, the hosts had provided generously for a couple of days stay. Great for a quick get away and not feeling like you have to pack everything for a short stay.

This cabin rental was phenomenal. Very clean and fully stocked, hot tub was amazing and to watch the sunrise from the back deck over the mountain top was a major plus.Centralized to all attractions. We definitely recommend and plan to return for another visit.

We loved our short stay here. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was a great value for what they had to offer. It was clean and in a quiet, cozy location. The cabin had a nice view through the trees since we stayed in the winter. We’d definitely be back again.

We enjoyed our stay at Moondance. It was just as described, and it was clean. ( I was concerned about clean as it was listed pet friendly). The hot tub was warm, but not hot. We have one at home and are familiar with them, but couldn't get it to heat up all the way. When we first arrived the cabin was VERY hot, and the thermostat was broken, so it just kept blasting heat, but we called in the morning and maintenance came that day and fixed it while we were out hiking. These things happen and were happy with the timely response. Overall it was a nice cabin, and was what we expected from the description.

Great little cabin, cozy. Had 2 bedrooms. and 2 baths. Not a far drive from Pigeon Forge. Away from the hustle and traffic. Well equipped kitchen , including veg maker. even had packets of coffee to make a couple of pots. Actually ready for a 2pm check in.

This cabin was much, much nicer than we anticipated, especially for the price. It was probably the most secluded on the complete and was very solidly built. It was comfortable and relaxing. The TVs were good quality, the porch was very nice, the beds were comfortable, and the second bathroom was a nice surprise (I don’t know how I missed that there were two full baths!) Having a washer, dryer, and dishwasher were also perks. Very solid furniture!! That all being said…the main reason we choose this cabin was because it had a hot tub. We arrived at 7:30pm and at 9:00 the next morning it still was not heated up past 94, and I had set it at 104 at 7:30 pm. There was also no manual or way of determining what kind if hot tub it was so we didn’t know how to use it. We just kept fiddling with the controls until it seemed like something worked. I ended up looking up on the Internet what the error codes meant. I emailed the company asking for a manual or the type of hot tub and the did not answer those questions, just telling me I needed to wait 4-6 hours for it to heat up (it had been almost 36 hours at this point). It did eventually heat up and was wonderful, but this was pretty annoying at first. If you stay here, ask for a manual or for the name of the hot tub. Additionally, we did see one cockroach on the first night, never again though. I was a little surprised to be provided with only decaf coffee. The place was not very clean, cobwebs in the shower, etc. Overall, this cabin was a great value and we would stay here again.

What a beautiful cabin inside and out. Our only regret is not having more time to enjoy it!!

We had the most amazing time! The cabin was just as shown in the photos. It was centrally located. The beds were super comfortable! When we arrived late at night we noticed the hot tub was not on and would not heat up because the breaker was turned off by the cleaning company. I emailed Outrageous Cabins and they responded first thing the next morning. Communication was great! The inside of the cabin was pristine and the outside of the cabin needs some minor repairs, but for the most part it was awesome! So happy we could bring our dog! He loved it there too! We highly recommend staying here!

This is an amazing place to stay, beautiful, quaint, about 15 minutes from pigeon forge, and in the best little community so you feel very safe!

My husband and I stayed for a few nights and we had a great time. The cabin is beautiful and we would recommend it to anyone. It’s in a great location as far as being close to things to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We would stay here again!

Cute cabin close to attractions but still feels secluded. We enjoyed to hot tub and the rocking chairs on the porch. Only complaint was that the sheets on the beds were very low quality. Other than that we enjoyed the stay and our time in Pigeon Forge!

Superb location! Close to the main strip but also in the wilderness. The cabin Moondance has two cabins that are a little close but was still very private! The porch with the rocking chairs faced into the woods and the hot tub was private. The neighborhood was very quiet. The downstairs bedroom is a little small and the shower heads are a little low. Also the cookware is in severe need of updating! The washer and dryer are a plus but the hot and cold hook ups are switched. Simple fix that could be done. The check in/check out process was super simple. Overall we loved the cabin and would love to book in the future!

My family and I had a great experience. The house was very clean and close to many attractions that we were interested in attending. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was just the right fix for me and my family. We would visit again.

The dog and I thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood and our morning and evening walk. I ended up blocking off part of the deck so that she could stay outside with me. It would be awesome if you could put up a gate so that future visitors could also do that. I had issues with the hot tub not working, but it was fixed even though they were short-staffed. Overall a great experience!

My husband and I spent the weekend in this cabin for a weekend. The location is great. Close enough to the main strip in pigeon forge, but far enough out for peace and quiet.

A very nice cabin that is close to Pigeon Forge but far enough away to relax and enjoy a quiet stay. The hot tub is very nice and the cabin is in a good neighbourhood.

This cabin is amazing...you feel secluded, yet it's very close to attractions. Extremely helpful staff too. The internet wasn't working so we called the manager and they had AT&T out the next day and got it fixed. We had a wonderful trip and would definitely return to Moondance!

Our overall experience was positive. A few things would have made our stay exceptional. Mattresses were a little firmer than our personal preference, We had to purchase a few items: space heater for MBR, broom/dust pan for keeping cabin floors tidy during our stay, extra pillow cases for the pillows. We did leave a couple of the purchased items behind in the cabin upon checkout for other guests in the future.
We would definitely stay in this community for its location. Honestly, we might search for cabins with more comfortable mattresses in the same community.
The one time we called for a maintenance person to look at leak in the refrigerator, we never got follow-up from maintenance. We just kept soaking up the leaks during our visit which was a minor annoyance during the stay.

Everything was better than advertised. The cabin was in a great location for everything in the pigeon forge, Gatlinburg area. Highly recommend!

My husband and I traveled to Pigeon Forge for our anniversary this year. We had never stayed in the Outrageous cabins. Our particular cabin, The Moondance, was in a great location close to Dollywood. The cabin was very clean and decorated beautifully! We will definitely be back!

Loved the cabin it was very comfortable and the inside was beautiful! It is located in a very easy in and out spot and close to all the attractions. Would love to stay here again!

I had booked this cabin for my mother daughter trip to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg area. It was perfect location since we wanted something more isolated. Easy drive to all the sites in the area. The cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. As a management company owner from Maui, Hawaii, I was very impressed. This would be my pick again, when I am able to come for another visit. THANK YOU for providing such great accommodations for travelers!

The cabin was easy to find. The road signs with in the resort were very helpful. Wouldn't be able to find your cabin without them.
We were impressed the cabin was supplied with everything to start our vacation.
Loved the decor, very fitting for the area.
Hot tub was clean and warm by the time we got there.
Had a great time enjoying several sites in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
I would recommend Moondance to my family and friends.

This is by far the most beautiful cabin I have ever stayed in! It is in a great location and the drive to the cabin is a breeze. Everything was perfect from the fireplace to the private hot tub! If you're looking for a private getaway, this is the place! We will definitely visit again and will be sure to request Moondance.
